Sellers can choose the best visible place to sell with outdoor parking. Spaces can be pre-booked. We have the best location to sell your vehicle, Located just minutes on foot from the central City and with many back packers (hostels) within short walking distance, making the Christchurch Car Market the most convenient place to sell your vehicle. We have a great out door parking area visible by all traffic passing by, a bus stop right outside, thus giving the seller the best possible chance of selling.

We offer you friendly, advice needed to sell your vehicle. We only charge a one-off fee to park and sell your vehicle, which is $20 per day with a 5 day minimum). We do not take any commission on the sale. You negotiate with the buyer and decide the final price. We can help with any assistance and offer any advice but generally do not get involved in the sale, thus giving equal opportunity for all buyers and sellers.

However if you are running out of time and can not sell your vehicle we can sell it for you.

To Sell Your Vehicle

We recommend that you present your car in a clean state.

Have a current WOF, the newer the better; we can arrange a new WOF for you if you like, for $25.

Have current registration.

How long will it take to sell my vehicle?

In summer you can generally sell your vehicle with in one or two days. During the winter months it may take longer. The key is to present your car well; a quick clean will make all the difference.
